THE ACADEMIC BOARD
Also known as the Board of Supreme Chancellors, the Board of National Chancellors or “The Board of the Rings”or "Brotherhood or Fellowship of the Rings" (as moniker). This is the governing body for the Academy of PAMS.

Composition:
Depends upon the number of Supreme Chancellors representing the different National Board of Discipline.

Presiding Officer:
The Dean Chancellor as elected by the Supreme Chancellors or the National Chancellors(from the National Board of Disciplines of each Specialty)
|
Function:
- Uplift the academic standard of each discipline
|
|
- Coordinate and monitor activities of the different discipline
|
|
- Settle disputes, conflicts, and problems arising from different specialties and disciplines.
|
|
- Coordinate activities with other PAMS main Division
|
|
- Makes representation and reports to the Board of Trustees.
|
THE BOARD OF DISCIPLINES
The Board of Disciplines The PAMS Board of Discipline is an Independent Body initially created by the local chapters and National Board of Trustees, whose main goal is to raise the standard of practice in their respective field of specialty. Ex. Board of Discipline in Surgery, Board of Discipline in Medicine, Board of Discipline in Pediatrics, Board of Discipline in OB-Gyne, etc.

Organizational Structure
a. The Local Board of Discipline or LBOD or “Local Buddies” as moniker (Local Chapters- Cities and Municipalities) - an independent body initially created by the local chapter. - Headed by “the Regent” as elected by the LBOD members themselves.

b. The Board of Regents or The Provincial Board of Discipline (Provincial Chapters)- represented by Local Chapters’ Regents - Headed by “the Chancellor” as elected by the BOR members themselves.

c. The Board of Chancellors or The Regional Board of Disciplines (Regional Chapters) - represented by the Provincial Chapters’ Chancellors - Headed by “the Grand Chancellor” as elected by the BOC members themselves.

**d. The Board of Grand Chancellors or The National Board of Discipline or “National Buddies” as moniker(National Chapters) - represented by the Regional Chapters’ Grand Chancellors - Headed by “the Supreme Chancellor” as elected by the BOG members themselves.

Tenure:
Each member will have a 3 year tenure of office and will be conferred as such during midyear or annual Conventions of PAMS.
|
Functions:
1. Invite, scout, and select new members
|
|
2. Make guidelines and rules to standardize the clinical practice in their respective disciplines with regards to:       (a)Diagnostic Standard       (b)Treatment Standard        (c)Professional Fee Standard
|
|
3. Create activities in pursuing the highest academic standard possible. Ex.CME Activities, Creation of Peer Review Committee, Research Activities
